Privacy
Short version: I use your details to answer you about your job, and for nothing else.
What I collect
If you fill in the form on this site I collect your name, whatever contact details you give me, your postcode, what you have said about the job and any photographs you attach. That is all of it. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising network and no newsletter list.
What I do with it
I use it to reply to you and to price the work. The enquiry arrives as an email to me. I do not sell it, share it or pass it to anyone else, apart from a structural engineer or another trade if you have asked me to and only with what is needed to answer your question.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within twelve months. Where the job goes ahead, I keep the correspondence for six years, which is what I need for tax and for any question that comes up about the work afterwards.
Your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email or ring and I will deal with it. If you are not happy with how I have handled your details you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and to keep the site running.
The coverage map on the homepage and contact page loads its map tiles from OpenStreetMap, so your browser makes a request to their servers when the map is on screen. No cookie is set for that, and no other page on the site talks to a server we do not run.
