You deal with me, start to finish.
Twenty five years a carpenter, most of it on high end projects in London. Now working out of Rochester on houses across Medway and north Kent.
I started out on sites where the finish had to be right because someone was going to run their hand along it. That's where the standard came from and it hasn't moved since. Most of the last twenty five years has been London work, big renovations and structural jobs on houses that people cared about.
I've come back to Kent and set up on my own. That means you get me on the phone, me on the walk round, and me on the tools. Nobody's going to turn up on day one who you've never met.
The other thing worth knowing is that I'll tell you what I think. If there's a better way to do something, or if what you're asking for will cause a problem in two years, you'll hear it before we start rather than after. Most people take the suggestion. Some don't, and that's fine too.
Where a job needs trades around the carpentry, I'll bring them in and manage them from start to finish, so there's one person to ask and one person answerable for it.

I'll come out and look, free. We'll talk through what you want and I'll tell you what I'd do differently, if anything.

You get it in writing
A written price with dates on it, so you know what you're spending and when I'm there.

I'm the one on the tools
You'll be kept up to date with any unforeseen work and changes that need to be made through the project, and you'll hear it from me.
